Descripción
Works directly with Sales and Operations in supply planning and identify proactive inventory adjustments to ensure demand and inventory are met
Follows the standard biosecurity established in all forms with regard to their inbound and outbound transactions
Develops processes of distribution and delivery of products for hogs and poultry requirements as planned. Initiates priorities based on customer needs by maximizing the resources and technology
Plans and manages pull out of products such as live hogs, eggs, live chicken and others based on sales requirements and availability
Manages the partnered warehouse logistics (cold chain and carcass) in monitoring the ins and outs of the products stored
Monitors internal and external vehicle compliance with preventive maintenance system, repairs, and registration
Monitors 3rd party trucking vehicles and ensures that it is within standards of our company needs and partner requirements
Actively participates in Sales, Operations, Finance, Accounting and Executives towards new products development and launch
Prepares reports and communicates inventory measurement to warehouse management
Proactively facilitates and recommends re-engineering, best practices and agreed between the following areas: supply chain, sales, operations, finance and accounting, and IT
Audits supply in the inventory of warehouses compared to sales and production date
Contributes to the development of establishing supply policy and procedures
Maintains documentation and operating procedures for demand/supply planning process and related systems
Requisito
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or inventory planning, preferably in the agriculture, livestock, or food production industry.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehousing, cold chain logistics, and distribution operations.
Experience in supply planning, demand forecasting, and coordinating with cross-functional departments (Sales, Operations, Finance, IT).
Familiarity with biosecurity protocols and compliance, particularly in the handling and transport of live animals and agricultural products.
Proven ability to analyze supply chain processes, recommend improvements, and implement best practices.
Strong coordination and monitoring skills, especially with 3rd-party logistics providers and internal fleet management.
Proficiency in logistics systems, reporting tools, and inventory tracking software.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
