This role will be responsible for the purchase of packaging, raw or indirect materials to support Del Monte requirements. It is expected that procured materials shall be according to DMPI specification, at AOP price or lower, delivered on time, at the right quality and from the right source.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead Time Management: Efficiently manage lead times to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• 100% Material Availability: Maintain a consistent supply of materials to avoid production delays.
• Savings: Achieve cost savings through strategic sourcing and negotiation.
• Procurement Information Systems: Utilize and manage procurement systems to streamline processes.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Expertise in Procurement: Continuously develop and apply advanced procurement skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of any business-related or engineering course.
• International Trade Centre (ITC) or Philippine Institute for Supply Management (PISM) certified supply management professional (preferred but not a must).
• At least 2 years work experience in the field of Sourcing or Supply Chain.
• Working knowledge of procurement in a computerized environment particularly in SAP ECC6.0 (preferred but not a must) and MS Office Applications.
