We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic 3D artist to create beautiful and more importantly photographically accurate 3D models and lifestyle images of its range of furniture, homewares, and home improvement, to surprise and delight our customers, to achieve commercial objectives, support our rapid growth, and improve our brand perception. Working for the 3D Artist in Sydney, you will be responsible for creating finished and finessed 3D models and photorealistic lifestyle shoots in 3D.

Key focus areas include but are not limited to:

• Creating and delivering high quality 3D models and shaders in a cost effective and timely manner
• Create photorealistic, editorial style finished images including post production on raw renders
• Working closely with the Creative and Styling teams to ensure 3D output upholds and maintains brand image standards
• Overseeing output and providing recommendations for improvements
• Assist in the maintenance and general upkeep of the 3D asset library, and continue to optimise and manage file structures as they grows
• Working with the Sydney 3D Artist and Senior 3D Artist to strategise, innovate and develop new 3D initiatives and ways of streamlining asset production.
• Continually optimising the production process for maximum efficiency.
• Upholding and evolving Temple & Webster’s reputation for beautifully styled and shot interiors imagery

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years working experience in product, and/or architectural visualization, vfx, 3D, or relevant areas.
• Expert knowledge within 3Ds MAX and V-RAY
• A great understanding of camera and lighting in 3D
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine and Unity is an advantage
• Familiarity with Windows and Mac OS
• Familiarity with Photoshop and After Effects is an advantage
• Familiarity with Substance Designer, Z-brush and Marvellous Designer is an advantage
• Familiarity with Connecter (Design Connected) is an advantage
• Experience in 3D Modelling, Texturing & UV Mapping, Lighting Composition, Animation, Storytelling and Post-production
• Experience in Animation, and Post-production is an advantage
• Experience in VR and or AR
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• You are creative, detail oriented and able to handle multiple projects under pressure
• A passion for digital arts across all platforms and genres (film, games, imagery, interactive etc)
• You are self-motivated and proactive
• A positive attitude and you are a genuine team player
• The ability to take direction well
• You can share knowledge and are open to learning from others
