We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Engineer to optimize supply chain operations. This role focuses on improving material flow, boosting distribution efficiency, and supporting cost-effective logistics. The ideal candidate will streamline workflows and collaborate with teams to ensure timely delivery.

Job Objectives & Responsibilities

• Analyze current logistics operations and identify areas for improvement in transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution strategies.
• Design and implement efficient logistics systems to optimize the flow of materials and products throughout the supply chain.
• Evaluate logistics performance through KPIs such as delivery times, transportation costs, inventory turnover, and warehouse utilization.
• Develop routing guides, delivery schedules, and transportation strategies to reduce costs and improve delivery accuracy.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Assist in warehouse layout design and material handling optimization to improve space utilization and reduce handling time.
• Utilize logistics software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools to monitor and improve logistics operations.
• Recommend and implement automation technologies or process changes for logistics efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards related to logistics and transportation.
• Prepare reports and presentations on logistics performance, cost savings, and improvement initiatives for management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations, preferably in the manufacturing or packaging industry.
• Strong understanding of logistics principles, transportation planning, inventory control, and supply chain optimization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and logistics/ERP systems.
• Experience with logistics modeling, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance related to logistics is a plus.
