The Business Development Officer is responsible for growing the Foreign Exchange (FX) and multi-currency investments through branches in support of the business flows by implementing local area plans and portfolio coverage strategies.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Implements the group’s strategies to support income and volume growth by distributing volume and income targets per covered area and rolling out local area activities for wider branch reach
  • Establishes local presence with Branch Managers (BMs), Relationship Managers (RMs), and branch staffs for distribution of treasury solutions
  • Partners with the local areas through the following initiatives: (1) updating branches with regular production reports; (2) conducting branch trainings and workshops; (3) gathering branch feedback on client needs and suggesting improvements; and (4) assisting the marketing team for local activities and promos (internal and external)
  • Assists the branches in keeping a high ethical standard by guiding and suggesting alternative compliant solutions applicable to the client need.
  • Ensures that targets are met with a balanced expense management in order to maximize performance return


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting, finance, or economics
  • Certifications such as SEC Fixed Income Salesman and Certified Treasury Professional is advantage
  • Willing to be assigned in Makati
