Technical Lead Position - Company in Kuala Lumpur Exchange Sector

Position Title: Technical Lead / CTO

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Reporting to: CEO

Salary: 50k-70k RMB (8K-10K USD)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Lead with a background in cryptocurrency exchanges to take full responsibility for the company's technical architecture planning and platform development. You will lead the engineering team in building a secure, high-performance, and highly available digital asset trading platform. You will be involved in product strategy formulation and drive the technical implementation from 0 to 1 or from 1 to 100.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the overall design and evolution of the technical architecture, planning the development and optimization of core systems (matching engine, wallet system, risk control module, etc.);

2. Build and manage the technical team, establish technical standards and R&D processes, ensuring delivery quality and security;

3. Oversee the stability, security, and performance optimization of the trading system, enhancing the overall platform experience and technical reliability;

4. Participate in product function design, technical route decision-making, and resolution of key issues, promoting cross-department collaboration and agile development;

5. Stay informed about the development of the blockchain industry and cutting-edge technology trends, guiding the evolution of the company's technical capabilities and business strategies;

6. Cultivate technical team culture, foster engineer growth, and encourage innovation.

Job Requirements

* Over 5 years of backend system architecture or platform development experience, with at least 2 years of experience in developing exchange-related systems (centralized or decentralized exchanges are acceptable);

* Proficient in high-concurrency system architecture design, familiar with core exchange functional modules such as matching engines, currency management, on-chain transfers, KYC/AML, etc.;

* Familiar with at least one mainstream programming language (Go, Java, Rust, Python, etc.) and distributed system architecture;

* Knowledgeable about commonly used blockchain wallet management, cold and hot wallet isolation mechanisms, public/private key management, and security measures;

* Familiar with trading matching logic, order book management, WebSocket/API architecture, and other related technical details;

* Possess excellent team management skills, cross-departmental collaboration experience, and remote communication capabilities;

* Experience in cryptocurrency compliance, security, DevOps, and CI/CD is preferred;

* Additional points: Experience in building an exchange project from scratch, maintenance of open-source projects, or a background as a technical leader in overseas exchanges.
