Description
• Will oversee staff of Finance Department of multiple companies.
• Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department
• Examining, monitoring, interpreting, and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports or statements.
• Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Must be able to interpret financial data and make recommendations based ontheir findings.
• Analyze data to detect deficiencies in accounting controls, detect fraud and noncompliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
• Preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Maintaining the general ledger system.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable.
• Exposure to financial audits, operations review and control design evaluation.
• Must be able to present and discuss financial data to management and participate in evaluating and decision making of budget forecast, expense and revenue analysis.
• Coordinate and interact with managers of various departments.• Interact with customers and vendors.
Requirements
• Must have a bachelor’s degree major in Accounting, with a minimum of 4 years of managerial or supervisory experience in Finance. Inclusive of supervision of accounts Payable, accounts receivable, payroll, billing, and job costing.
• A Certified Public Accountant• Solid English written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum 3 years of use of various accounting software.
• Excellent analytical skills.• Experience with auditing firms is a plus.
