Description
- Operate trailer trucks for delivery and transport of goods across assigned routes
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic preventive maintenance
- Ensure that cargo is secured and loaded safely
- Follow delivery schedules and communicate delays to dispatch or management
- Maintain accurate driving logs, delivery records, and trip tickets
- Comply with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures
- Coordinate with warehouse or logistics staff during loading and unloading
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, or violations to the supervisor immediately
- Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of assigned vehicle
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- With valid Professional Driver’s License (Restriction 8)
- Minimum of 2 years driving experience for trailer trucks or heavy vehicles
- Knowledge of road networks, especially local and regional routes
- No major traffic violations or accidents in the past 12 months
- Willing to travel long distances and work extended hours as needed
