Description
- Operate heavy trucks and deliver goods to designated locations.
- Inspect vehicles for safety and perform routine maintenance.
- Adhere to traffic laws and company policies.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and deliveries.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients.
Requirements
- Valid professional driver’s license (e.g., [Specify license type – e.g., Professional Driver’s License Restriction 1, 2, 3)
- Proven work experience as a truck driver
- Knowledge of truck driving rules and regulations
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
- Familiarity with GPS devices or map apps and local routes
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
- Physical strength and stamina to load/unload cargo (if required)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Clean driving record and no history of major traffic violations
- Willingness to comply with company policies and safety standards
