A Technical Support Representative provides technical assistance and troubleshooting support to customers, resolving technical issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Respond to customer inquiries and technical issues via phone, email, chat, or social media.

2. Diagnose and resolve technical problems, providing step-by-step guidance and troubleshooting.

3. Provide product or service information, instructions, and recommendations.

4. Document customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions.

5. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., development, engineering) to resolve complex technical issues.

6. Identify and report recurring technical issues, suggesting potential solutions.

7. Stay up-to-date with product or service updates, enhancements, and new features.


Required Skills:

1. Strong technical knowledge of products or services.

2. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple technical issues.

4. Proficiency in technical support software, CRM systems, and basic computer skills.

5. Patience, empathy, and a customer-centric approach.


Preferred Qualifications:

1. Previous technical support experience.

2. Certifications in relevant technical areas (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA).

3. Knowledge of scripting languages or automation tools.

4. Experience with cloud-based services or software.
