Description

The Social Media Marketing Officer is responsible for driving lead generation, creating engaging social media content, and executing strategic marketing campaigns to achieve business goals. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Facebook Ads, along with a clear understanding of data, analytics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform and refine strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation:

  • Develop and execute strategies to attract and convert leads through social media platforms, particularly Facebook.
  • Optimize paid advertising campaigns to maximize reach, engagement, and conversions.
  • Leverage audience insights and advanced targeting strategies to improve campaign effectiveness.

Social Media Content Creation:

  • Plan, design, and publish compelling content tailored to the target audience.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment across posts, ads, and campaigns.
  • Align organic and paid content strategies to boost visibility and engagement.

Facebook Ads Management:

  • Set up, manage, and optimize Facebook ad campaigns with a focus on lead generation and conversion.
  • Implement A/B testing, audience segmentation, and retargeting strategies to improve ad performance.
  • Stay updated on Facebook Ads Manager updates, algorithm changes, and best practices.

Client-Facing Activities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing communication and delivering regular updates on campaign performance.
  • Present insights and recommendations to clients, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with their objectives.

Strategic Planning:

  • Craft and implement strategies for both lead generation and social media growth, with a strong focus on Facebook.
  • Analyze data and trends to refine campaigns, improve engagement, and achieve KPIs.

Data and Analytics:

  • Monitor and interpret key campaign metrics such as CPL (Cost Per Lead), ROAS (Return on Ad Spend), CTR (Click-Through Rate), and other KPIs to assess performance and ROI.
  • Use data-driven insights to adjust strategies, improve results, and report findings to stakeholders effectively.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Facebook Business Suite and Instagram tools
  • Understanding of social media advertising (FB Ads Manager, IG promotions)
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (Meta Business Suite)
  • Able to manage social media marketing team

Nice to have

  • Experience in using content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of audiences
  • Creativity and an eye for detail in social media posts and content
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple social accounts
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in social media management
  • Proven experience managing Facebook and Instagram platforms for business
  • Strong portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns
  • Willing to work with US time based clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices for content creation and engagement
  • Strong client relationship management skills
