Job Purpose:

  • This position is responsible for generating sales of UIPC—Insulated Panel products through various
  • activities, including sales efforts, promotional visits, customer engagement, and servicing both
  • prospective and existing clients. The role also involves conducting product and company presentations
  • to raise awareness and drive sales. Additionally, it includes identifying and developing market
  • opportunities.

Job Scope:

Selling Function

  • Establish and follow an effective sales process that includes prospecting, qualifying, pre-approach, approach, demonstration/presentation, handling objections, and closing. This ensures quality sales and maintains a consistent level of performance. Additionally, you are responsible for identifying new markets, potential accounts, and opportunities, while staying informed about developments in your assigned areas. Gather data and information, or listings of ongoing and/or upcoming projects from reliable institutions in these areas, and conduct benchmarking as needed.
  • Contributing to the development of strategies, targets, and budgets for his/her area, and executing approved action plans and programs to ensure quality sales and consistent performance.
  • Prepares sales quotations, order placement forms, and other documentation for customer accounts in an organized manner—legible, complete, and compliant with pricing levels, payment terms, and delivery lead times.
  • Keeps track of all incoming orders, withdrawals, and outstanding balances for managed customers.
  • Regularly visit existing clients and prospective customers for sales calls, collections, promotions, and relationship-building.

Credit, Collection, and Remittance

  • Facilitates and ensures the collection of sales order payments under credit policies and guidelines, while coordinating effectively with credit personnel.
  • Any special payment arrangements offered by a prospective customer should be referred to the immediate supervisor for consultation and/or approval before acceptance.
  • Ensure remit collections are deposited either on the date received or on the next banking day.
  • Monitors the business and personal activities of current or prospective customers that may impact their creditworthiness.

After-Sales Services

  • Ensures customer satisfaction by providing related services and handling complaints in coordination with technical services personnel.

Other responsibilities

  • Coordinates with the Sales Assistant and customers about sales order status, deliveries, inventory of materials, and finished goods.
  • Responsible for coordinating the processing and documentation of sales returns and addressing other customer concerns.
  • Ensures that company properties and other responsibilities are kept in good condition.
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned by their superior.
  • Conduct visits to plants and warehouses to evaluate quality systems and perform safety observations.
  • Takes responsibility for health and safety within their area of responsibility and actively supports safety initiatives.


Job Specification:

EDUCATION:

  • A graduate of a four to five-year college, preferably in Engineering or Business and Marketing courses.

EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 3-5 years or more in sales and technical sales
  • Should know how to drive and have with existing Driver's License.
  • Business know-how is preferable in the Construction Industry.
  • Computer Literate.
  • Experience in Project Management and Product Launch is an Advantage.
