Sales Development Representative (SDR) - Life Sciences QMS Specialist

We are a rapidly growing company providing cutting-edge electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) solutions to the life sciences industry. We're seeking a driven Quality Solutions Assistant with a unique blend of quality assurance expertise and sales acumen to drive our growth.

About the Role:

You will join our Sales Team - Quality Solutions team - as a Quality Solutions Assistant.

You will be the crucial first point of contact for potential customers. Leveraging your deep understanding of quality management systems and life science regulations, you'll engage with inbound leads, conduct thorough discovery calls, and qualify prospects. Your primary goal is to identify and nurture leads, ensuring a smooth transition to our Account Executives (AEs). Your experience implementing QMS within the medical device, pharma, or biotech industries will be invaluable in understanding customer needs and positioning SimplerQMS as the ideal solution.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead Management & Customer Engagement:
• Manage the full lead qualification process, including engaging with inbound leads, conducting discovery calls to understand prospect needs and QMS processes, and qualifying leads based on fit.
• Generate detailed demo notes for the sales team and re-engage cold leads to increase conversion.
• Educate potential customers on the value and benefits of SimplerQMS and its compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all lead interactions and customer education activities within Pipedrive CRM.

• Industry Expertise & Collaboration:
• Develop and maintain an understanding of the life sciences industry, including regulatory requirements (ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, GxP, ICH, etc.).
• Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize the sales process and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements:

Quality Assurance Expertise:

• Experience in implementing and managing Quality Management Systems (QMS) within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech industries is preferred.
• Strong understanding of life science regulations and standards (ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, GxP, ICH, GAMP5, FDA CFR 21 Part 11, EU GMP Guide Annex 11, or similar).

Sales & Communication Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in SaaS sales or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts.
• Experience conducting discovery calls and qualifying leads.
• Experience using CRM systems, Pipedrive preferred.

Industry Knowledge:

• Familiarity with eQMS software and its application in the life sciences industry.
• Experience collaborating with clients, IT, and customer success teams.

• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Ability to structure conversations effectively and build rapport with prospects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work Europe CET time zone.
