Description

  • Customer Service:
  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Address customer inquiries and provide product information.
  • Help customers find products that meet their needs, offering advice and recommendations.
  • Ensure customers have an excellent shopping experience.
  • Sales and Promotion:
  • Actively promote and sell products/services.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Upsell or cross-sell products where appropriate.
  • Participate in promotional campaigns or in-store events to increase sales.
  • Product Knowledge:
  • Stay informed about the product offerings, features, benefits, and promotions.
  • Provide detailed and accurate information to customers about product specifications, pricing, and availability.
  • Merchandising:
  • Maintain product displays and stock levels.
  • Ensure the sales floor is organized, clean, and visually appealing.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment.
  • Sales Transactions:
  • Process customer purchases using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Handle cash, credit, and return transactions accurately.
  • Ensure correct pricing and discounts are applied during the checkout process.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other team members to achieve store goals and sales targets.
  • Share product knowledge and sales techniques with colleagues.
  • Additional Duties:
  • Assist in opening and closing the store.
  • Handle customer returns or exchanges according to company policy.
  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude to foster a welcoming atmosphere in the store.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional education may be required in some cases).
  • Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not always necessary.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions.
  • Comfortable standing for long periods and handling physical tasks (e.g., stocking shelves).
