Description

  • Develop and implement occupational health and safety plans to ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date safety regulations and industry standards to promote continuous improvement in safety practices.
  • Conduct safety training sessions for laborers, staff and subcontracting management personnel
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive safety regulations to ensure compliance and promote a culture of safety
  • Participate in the acceptance of inspections of on-site mechanical equipment, electrical systems, safety protection installations and firefighting facilities to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Identify and mandate the correction of on-site safety hazards, oversee the rectification process and review the outcome to ensure compliance and effectiveness
  • Conduct daily safety inspections, implement the production safety inspection plan, promptly address and investigate instances of unauthorized command, unsafe operations and violations of safety protocols
  • Establish and maintain safety management data files.
  • Provide expert guidance on all matters related to safety and occupational health

Requirements

  • Candidate should have a Bachelor/s Degree of Civil Engineer and other related studies
  • Should have at least 3-5 years of related work experience
  • Background in safety management of road and bridge construction is an advantage
  • Must be familiar with the laws and regulations related to safety and occupational health
  • Must have an excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Has the ability to work on-site in various weather conditions and physically demanding environment
