About the Role:
- As the Retail and Marketing Lead, the candidate will lead and manage marketing initiatives specifically for our clients, including supermarkets, pharmacies, banner groups, stores, and their distributors.
- This role will focus on planning, executing, and optimizing in-store, clients, and trade marketing activities, while maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, a deep understanding of retail dynamics, and a track record of delivering impactful marketing campaigns that drive brad visibility, awareness, and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute customized marketing plans for B2B clients, including in-store promotions, print marketing, digital marketing, shopper marketing, display ads, and events, aligned with client objectives.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and clients, maintaining clear and proactive communication, managing expectations, and negotiating campaign details.
- Collaborate closely with clients to identify the most effective marketing activities, timing, and channels to maximize ROI and sales.
- Coordinate the implementation of marketing activities across multiple touch points, ensuring timely execution according to the marketing calendar.
- Manage budgets for all campaigns, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and adherence to financial parameters.
- Analyse the performance of retail and trade marketing campaigns, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to improve future activities.
- Work closely with the field sales reps, sales team, distributors, and sales support to align marketing strategies with sales goals and enhance sales performance.
- Coordinate with internal teams (creative, content, digital) to produce high-quality marketing materials that meet client requirements and standards.
- Plan and execute participation in expos, trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote our brands and products, ensuring maximum exposure and impact.
- Stay up to date with market trends, competitive activities, and consumer behaviour to continuously refine and improve marketing strategies.
