We are looking for quantity surveyor to join our Pasay based site team in delivering a prestigious marine reclamation project through construction management services. What you do as a quantity surveyor

The quantity surveyor will support the contracts and commercial lead monitoring the program, cost, and contractual aspects of the project. The duties will include:

• assisting in the implementation of contractual processes as set out in the contract
• reviewing incoming correspondence and drafting appropriate contractual replies
• identifies project risks, suggests and implements agreed avoidance and mitigation plans, and monitors risks
• analyzing current and expected progress of the project in terms of works completion and cost against the program, identifying issues, and providing solutions
• keeps records of all works complete, materials delivered, time spent, etc.
• review progress billings and prepare payments certificates, verify supporting documents through field surveys and site inspector reports
• assisting in the assessment of variations and claims on the project, analyzing impact on cost and time
• contributing to the completion of weekly, monthly, and other reports
• develop and maintain working relationships with client and contractor
• utilize software to calculate, record, and track inventory and estimates

What you bring

As a quantity surveyor, you will supervise and work on the environmental aspects of the reclamation project. For this position, you need to have the following competencies/skills:

• minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or other relevant degree
• around 3-7 years of relevant work experience
• experience as quantity surveyor in a construction management consultancy firm is essential
• excellent knowledge of the English language (written and verbal)
• strong in record keeping
• analytical thinker and strong problem solving
• strong interpersonal and communication skills
• team player, versatile, and energetic
• adept at working in a digital way
• proficient in Microsoft suite of applications
