Description

We're looking for a seasoned AWS/Python Developer to help build intuitive tools for aerospace engineers on top of a growing cloud stack.


  • Partner with our Lead Engineers to design, extend and maintain client-side Python SDKs, server-side services and the shared data layer
  • Work with in-house aerospace engineers to integrate and productionize features - ORM-style operations, parsing complex engineering files, and fine-tuning engineering algorithms
  • Debug and profile client–server code, lead code reviews, and ensure our repos stay clean and well-organized

Requirements

  • ~5 years of professional software development experience
  • Deep familiarity with Python design patterns and crafting libraries for users
  • Comfortable building and consuming REST or RPC APIs
  • Proficient with a major public cloud platform (ideally AWS, if not Azure)
  • Strong communicator who thrives in interdisciplinary teams, including strong English skills
  • Work Schedule - US standard business hours: 9:00AM - 5:00PM EST (13:00 - 21:00 UTC)


Nice to Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a closely related field
  • Ray, graph databases (e.g. Neo4j), relational databases
