Description

As a Site Engineer, you are responsible for overseeing the construction and development of projects on-site, ensuring that work is carried out according to plans, specifications, and quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing site activities, and addressing technical and logistical issues to ensure timely and efficient project completion.


Project Management:

  • Oversee daily site operations and ensure work is performed according to project plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to manage site activities and resolve any issues.


Site Supervision:

  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design drawings, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and provide feedback to ensure adherence to project specifications.


Technical Oversight:

  • Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications,
  • Provide technical advice and support to resolve design or construction issues.


Quality Control:

  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure that work meets required standards.
  • Conduct tests and inspections on materials and workmanship.


Safety Management:

  • Enforce site safety regulations and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Conduct safety briefings and promote a culture of safety on-site.


Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including progress reports, change orders, and site logs.
  • Prepare and submit reports on site conditions, work progress, and any issues encountered.


Coordination and Communication:

  • Liaise with architects, engineers, and other professionals to address project

requirements and design changes.

  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders and provide regular update on project status.


Problem-Solving:

  • Identify and resolve site-related issues promptly to minimize project delays.
  • Propose solutions to technical challenges and unforeseen problems.


Resource Management:

  • Oversee the management of materials, equipment, and labor on-site.
  • Ensure the proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage or loss.
  • Other task as may be assigned to you.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering ,Construction ,Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and control engineer or PRC License or Certified.
  • 2 or 4 years of experience
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods and site management
  • Previous experience in construction or site engineering roles is preferred (e.g., residential, Infrastructure)
  • Proficiency in using construction management software and tools
  • Relevant Certifications (eg., Professional Engineer, OSHA, COSH, BOSH)
  • Ability to work in various environmental condition and potentially hazardous environment.
  • Capability to conduct site inspections and perform physical task as needed
