PLANT MANAGER


Key Responsibilities and Success Metrics


  • Operational Leadership:
  1. Oversee end-to-end production processes, including extrusion, printing, laminating, slitting, and bag-making operations.
  2. Achieve and maintain 90%+ OEE while ensuring 95%+ on-time delivery rates.


  • Quality Assurance:
  1. Implement and monitor quality systems (ISO 9001, GMP) to achieve a 99% first-pass yield and reduce customer complaints to less than 1%.


  • Cost Management:
  1. Drive cost-saving initiatives to achieve a 10% annual reduction in production costs, without compromising quality or safety.


  • Sustainability Initiatives:
  1. Lead efforts to reduce waste and energy consumption, targeting a 20% reduction in the plant’s carbon footprint over three years.


  • Team Development and Safety:
  1. Foster a culture of safety and compliance, achieving zero lost-time incidents.
  2. Develop and retain top talent, ensuring 90% employee satisfaction and reducing turnover by 15% annually.


  • Strategic Growth:
  1. Collaborate with R&D and sales teams to align production with customer demands and introduce innovative packaging solutions.


Requirements

  • Location: Marilao, Bulacan
  • Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (Master’s degree in Business Administration or Operations Management is a strong advantage).
  • Experience: At least 5 years in a senior leadership role within manufacturing, with proven expertise in flexible packaging or related industries.
  • Technical and Industry Expertise:
  1. Comprehensive knowledge of flexible packaging processes (extrusion, printing, laminating, slitting, bag-making).
  2. Familiarity with material science related to polymers, adhesives, and inks.
  3. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Leadership and People Management:
  1. Proven ability to lead diverse teams, foster engagement, and build a high-performance culture.
  2. Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration with R&D, sales, and supply chain teams.
  • Strategic and Analytical Skills:
  1. Expertise in setting and achieving KPIs such as OEE, waste reduction, and cost efficiency.
  2. Data-driven decision-making skills for analyzing production metrics and driving continuous improvement.
  • Sustainability and Innovation:
  1. Experience in implementing eco-friendly practices and exploring new technologies to improve operational efficiency.
