Description

  • Dispense prescription medications and ensure accurate medication dosing, labeling, and patient instructions.
  • Provide patient counseling on the proper use of prescription and over-the-counter medications.
  • Monitor patient medication therapies for drug interactions, allergies, and side effects.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medication history, to ensure safe and effective treatment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapies and improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
  • Active pharmacy license in the relevant state or region.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, drug interactions, and pharmacology.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient counseling and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
