Description

The Paralegal will provide legal and administrative support to lawyers and legal departments. Responsibilities include legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing case files, and assisting in the preparation of legal proceedings and compliance matters.


  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support legal proceedings.
  • Draft, review, and format legal documents such as contracts, affidavits, pleadings, and legal correspondence.
  • Assist in preparing case files and documentation for hearings, trials, and meetings.
  • Maintain and organize legal files, databases, and documentation systems.
  • Coordinate with clients, courts, government agencies (e.g., SEC, BIR, DTI, HLURB), and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor deadlines and court schedules, ensuring timely submissions.
  • Provide support in corporate housekeeping tasks such as SEC reportorial compliance.
  • Assist in due diligence, notarization, and other legal transactions.
  • Perform administrative tasks as assigned by lawyers or legal officers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Legal Management, Political Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a legal or corporate environment
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, documentation, and Philippine legal system.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and document management tools.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.


Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with labor law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance in the Philippines.
  • Experience liaising with government agencies such as SEC, BIR, and DOLE.
  • Notarial practice or exposure is a plus.
