Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery.
Review technical specifications and ensure purchased materials meet project requirements.
Prepare and issue purchase orders, inquiries, and requests for quotations (RFQs).
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
Coordinate with project, engineering, and finance teams to align procurement with project schedules and budgets.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, supplier databases, and contracts.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Track and report procurement progress to management.
Support cost-saving initiatives and process improvements in the supply chain.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineer.
Experience in procurement within construction company.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of procurement software/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is an advantage.
Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
