Description
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and automotive vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using specialized diagnostic tools and equipment, and determine the necessary repairs or replacements.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify wear and tear, irregularities, and potential issues before they become major problems.
- Repair or replace defective parts such as brakes, engines, transmissions, and exhaust systems according to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs performed, parts used, and labor hours invested in each job for effective tracking and accountability.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities to effectively diagnose and resolve vehicle issues.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment specific to automotive technology.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality repairs and adherence to safety standards.
- Strong communication skills to explain vehicle issues and repair procedures clearly to customers and team members.
