Description
- Operate manual machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, and drills.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Measure and inspect finished parts using precision tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with engineers or supervisors to improve processes or resolve production issues.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a manual machinist
- Strong understanding of machining principles and safe shop practices
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school a plus
- Good character
- 25-40 years old (preferred)
