Job Purpose:

To oversee local logistics functions including but not limited to sourcing of carriers/forwarders, developing shipping guidelines and/or analysis to minimize freight cost per site, and aligning global processes of all local sites of IMI

To monitor and analyze monthly freight performance of all local sites, determine underlying reasons of high freight spend and propose and monitor action plans to improve spend

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• College degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management or Logistics, Customs Administration or Industrial Engineering
• At least three years of related work experience
• Background in global logistics, international trade, and import/export and domestic processes
• Background in project design, development and deployment of system
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; fluency in language other than English and local language an advantage
• Experience handling DG or temperature-sensitive goods is an advantage.
• Computer literacy (MS Office - Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook) Knowledge in preparing the process flow
• Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office tools.
• High level of integrity and ability to manage negotiations with service providers
• Leadership skills
• People management skills
