Description
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently.
- Assist in food prep and ingredient storage as needed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Support kitchen staff during peak hours.
- Report any maintenance issues to management promptly.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: A diploma in culinary arts or a related field is preferred.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen or stewarding role.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in cooking techniques, strong kitchen hygiene knowledge, effective communication, ability to perform heavy lifting, and keen attention to detail.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, assist chefs, organize kitchen supplies, and ensure proper food storage.
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat, noise, and heavy workloads.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong work ethic, team player, reliable, and able to follow instructions accurately.
