About The Job

In this role, you will provide operational support to the client’s investment programs, supporting their adherence to the regulatory requirements. You will be interacting with various stakeholders including investment professionals, tax and legal experts as well as depositary banks, auditors and administrators. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Understanding the investment structures across asset classes (i.e. private equity, private real estate, private infrastructure, private debt)
  • Monitoring and reviewing the completeness and accuracy of tax and legal documents filing within the document platform/system
  • Liaising with external parties in facilitating document exchange in relation to asset safekeeping / record keeping based on the investment structures
  • Supporting the annual ownership verification process within the regulatory framework of European AIFMD (Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive)
  • Coordinating with the auditors in the asset reconciliation, depositary confirmations and other audit tasks ensuring set deadlines are met
  • Independently handling your area of responsibility and manage your workload to meet agreed timelines
  • Ensuring diligent understanding and strict adherence to processes and controls in place
  • Proactively supporting the team lead and the whole team in any BAU topics and projects including identifying potential process improvements
  • Ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders, effectively managing expectations

What We Expect

  • Bachelor’s degree from a university, preferably in Business Administration, Financial Management, Accountancy , Legal Management or equivalent
  • With at least 1-3 years of working experience in operations team of a private equity or financial services industry
  • Ability to understand and interpret corporate transaction documents (i.e. subscription agreements, credit agreements, LPAs)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Should possess entrepreneurial mindset, proactive behavior and be solution-oriented
