Job Description
- Prepare traditional Japanese dishes with a focus on quality and presentation.
- Ensure freshness and authenticity of ingredients.
- Create new menu items and specials.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with staff to maintain high standards of service.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
- Educational Qualifications: High/Senior High School diploma required.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of relevant experience in Japanese cuisine.
- Skills and Competencies: Expertise in cooking techniques, strong customer orientation, keen attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and adherence to kitchen hygiene standards.
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced kitchen environment, standing for long hours, and working evenings and weekends.
- Qualities and Traits: Passionate about Japanese cuisine, creative, team player, and committed to excellence.
