Description

Hardware Installation & Maintenance:

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and printers (inkjet, laser, thermal, multifunction, etc.).
  • Diagnose and repair hardware faults, including motherboard, RAM, hard drives, power supplies, and printer components.
  • Perform upgrades, component replacements, and preventive maintenance.


Software & System Support:

  • Install and configure operating systems (Windows/macOS/Linux) and essential applications.
  • Troubleshoot software and driver issues for printers and peripheral devices.
  • Ensure antivirus and security software is properly installed and updated.


Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Respond to IT service requests and troubleshoot issues remotely or on-site.
  • Provide timely technical assistance to staff related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Document issues and resolutions in the IT ticketing system.


Network & Connectivity:

  • Set up and maintain network printers and ensure proper connectivity.
  • Assist with basic networking tasks (e.g., IP configuration, printer sharing, LAN setup).


Inventory & Documentation:

  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment, parts, and tools.
  • Keep accurate records of service activities, configurations, and asset status.


Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to lift and move hardware as needed.


  • We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Technician with expertise in the installation, maintenance, and repair of printers, computers, and laptops.
  • The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, perform system diagnostics, and provide technical support to end-users to ensure smooth IT operations.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on experience in IT hardware support, especially printers and personal computers.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and common office software.
  • Experience in handling a wide range of printer brands (HP, Canon, Epson, Brother, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of networking principles (LAN, IP addressing, etc.).
  • Valid driver’s license (if travel to branches or client sites is required).
