Description

The Warehouse Industrial Engineer is responsible for ensuring the accurate monitoring, documentation, and control of all fabric-related transactions, from purchase order to production use, while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This role also supports cross-functional initiatives aimed at optimizing operations and driving business sustainability.


Key Responsibilities:

Fabric Monitoring & Control

  • Maintain up-to-date records of fabric purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier communications.
  • Inspect and document fabric specifications, including weight, number of rolls, width, description, and construction details.
  • Oversee fabric weighing and generate related reports (e.g., kg/roll, PO tracking).
  • Compute and validate fabric consumption requirements for all brands to optimize material usage and minimize waste.

Inventory & Warehouse Management

  • Manage fabric warehouse inventory, ensuring accuracy and proper storage conditions.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Coordinate retaso (fabric remnants) processing, including documentation, valuation, and coordination with Accounting for payment collection and recording.

Production Coordination

  • Work closely with the Merchandising Department to align job orders with fabric availability and quality standards.
  • Ensure timely execution of cutting schedules based on production plans.
  • Oversee and conduct quality checks on printed fabrics to ensure compliance with design and durability standards.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare and submit monthly and annual production summary reports, covering fabric inventory, quality control results, tagging, cutting, and receiving/dispatching activities.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and accessible records to support operational transparency and audit readiness.

Continuous Improvement & Cross-Functional Support

  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements in material handling, inventory tracking, and quality control.
  • Collaborate with management in developing business models, optimizing organizational design, and implementing long-term sustainability initiatives.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in warehouse systems, fabric inventory management, or production coordination, preferably in a manufacturing or garment industry.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
