Description

  • Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Greet guests upon arrival, verify their reservations, assign rooms, and provide keycards. Process guest check-outs, ensuring all charges are correct and payment is processed.
  • Reservations: Manage room bookings, answer phone calls, and respond to email inquiries about room availability, rates, and hotel services. Make reservations for guests and update the reservation system.
  • Guest Services: Address guest needs or concerns promptly, including special requests, complaints, or inquiries about hotel amenities, local attractions, or directions.
  • Billing and Payment Processing: Handle payments, including cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment. Issue receipts, ensure billing accuracy, and resolve discrepancies when needed.
  • Front Desk Operations: Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Maintain guest records and update the system with guest preferences or requests.

Requirements

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is generally required. A degree in hospitality or a related field can be an advantage.
  • Experience: Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a front desk role is preferred but not always required. On-the-job training is common.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to address guest concerns, offer assistance, and ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Organization: Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, guest requests, and daily tasks efficiently.
