Description

  • Operates and maintains heavy machinery to move materials and complete construction projects
  • Operate heavy machinery like bulldozers, excavators, and loaders
  • Inspect and maintain equipment
  • Perform basic repairs
  • Load and unload cargo
  • Move materials to storage areas
  • Follow safety procedures
  • Report needs for larger repairs
  • Communicate with coworkers
  • Ensure projects are completed accurately

Requirements

  • Strong hand and foot coordination
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Strong critical thinking ability
  • High attention to detail
  • Physical ability to work a strenuous work environment
  • Strength to lift 50 pounds or more repetitively
  • Experience working with different equipment and vehicles
  • Background knowledge of different job sites
