Description

Head Chef

- oversees everything going in and out of the kitchen

-responsible for all activities in the kitchen.

-can delegate tasks to the kitchen staff and ensure efficient running of his zone.

-he or she will also ensure that the staff productivity is maximized as much as possible.

-forecast supply needs and estimate costs

-ensure production of quality and consistent food

-organize duty roster for kitchen staff


Requirements

*Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience .

*Experience in hotels or fine dining restaurants is essential.

*Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Head chef.

*Strong leadership & management skills.

*Experience in menu planning & development.

*Knowledge in food safety & sanitation.

*Ability to train staffs.

*Ability to manage budgets & cost control.

[Preferred]

Experience with Korean cuisine

Proficiency in English
