Description
- Operate forklifts to move, locate, and stack materials.
- Inspect equipment regularly to ensure safety and compliance.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Assist in inventory management and reporting.
- Unload shipments and ensure materials are stored properly.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of experience operating forklifts or related machinery.
- Skills and Competencies: Basic mechanical skills, attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to follow instructions.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Safely operate a forklift to move materials, load/unload goods, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Working Conditions: Indoor and outdoor work environments; may require lifting heavy objects.
- Qualities and Traits: Dependable, safety-focused, team-oriented, and strong communication skills.
