Description
- Lead and supervise the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables.
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices across accounting workflows and reporting standards.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Prepare a complete set of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and internal deadlines.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, supporting CFO-level initiatives and strategic decision-making.
- Provide audit support, including preparation of schedules, documentation, and resolution of auditor inquiries.
- Monitor compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve work completed by team members, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with company standards.
- Lead regular team meetings, provide coaching and feedback, and promote an environment of effective collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial operations with broader business goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
- Proficient in accounting software and Excel.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team-first mindset.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
