About the role



Join the team at New Flavor House, Inc. as a fulltime Environmental Health and Safety Officer in Potrero Malabon City, Metro Manila. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's operations adhere to all relevant environmental and health & safety regulations, protecting the wellbeing of our employees and the surrounding community.

What you'll be doing

• Develop, implement and monitor compliance with health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments across the organisation

• Investigate incidents and near-misses, identify root causes and implement corrective actions

• Provide training and support to employees on health, safety and environmental best practices

• Liaise with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders on environmental and safety matters

• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on the company's EHS performance

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in EHS management

What we're looking for

• Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety or a related field

• 3+ years' experience as an Environmental Health and Safety Officer in the manufacturing or similar industry

• Extensive knowledge of relevant environmental, health and safety legislation and regulations

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and mitigate risks

• Excellent communication and training skills to engage with employees at all levels

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver EHS objectives

• Proficient in handling or transacting with government agencies such as DOLE, DENR, BFP and other government unit.

• Familiarity with government agencies mandated annual reports and forms.
