Install, maintain, and repair elevators, escalators, and lifts
Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify issues
Perform safety checks and ensure compliance with industry regulations
Replace or repair faulty components such as cables, motors, and control systems
Test elevator performance and make necessary adjustments
Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide quick solutions
Keep records of maintenance work, repairs, and parts used
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in elevator technology is a plus
Experience in elevator installation or maintenance is preferred
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Physically fit to perform manual labor and work at heights
Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and emergency calls
Certification or licensing may be required, depending on local regulations
