Description
- Operate drilling rigs and equipment for mineral extraction.
- Monitor drilling parameters and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Inspect and maintain drilling tools and machinery.
- Collaborate with engineers to optimize drilling processes.
- Record data and report findings to supervisors.
- Work in various environments, including remote locations and harsh conditions.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: High/Senior High School diploma is required.
- Experience Level: 5 years of relevant drilling experience preferred.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in surface and underground drilling, diamond drilling, reverse circulation, and water well drilling techniques.
- Working Conditions: Physically demanding, often in remote outdoor settings, and may require shifts.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, ability to work in teams, and a commitment to safety.
