Description

Job Summary:

  • The Customer Advisor serves as the first point of contact for customers, providing friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service. This role involves handling inquiries, solving problems, recommending products or services, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, or via email/chat in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Understand customer needs and provide accurate information about products, services, or policies.
  • Help customers resolve complaints, issues, or concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Promote and upsell relevant products and services based on customer preferences.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, process orders, and update systems as needed.
  • Ensure the customer area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, technical support) to ensure smooth resolution of customer requests.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, company promotions, and policy changes.
  • Gather and relay customer feedback to management for continuous improvement.
  • Meet or exceed customer satisfaction goals and performance metrics.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred for some industries).
  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, or sales is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems or point-of-sale software.
  • A positive attitude and genuine interest in helping customers.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and multitask effectively.
