JOB SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of the Head Office Compliance Testing Section Head performs activities of the Compliance Testing and Validation Department that facilitates the implementation of the Bank’s Compliance Program and adherence by Head Office Units to regulatory requirements and/or standards in the performance of business or functions, as the case may be.


JOB DESCRIPTION


  • Performs activities that facilitates the accomplishment of the Department's functions such as preparation and updating of the Bank's Compliance Testing Plan.
  • Identification of relevant banking/AML laws, rules, regulations, policies and ethical standards on banking operations and identification of corresponding compliance risks; and
  • Coordination with Head Office Unit personnel concerned in the implementation of the Compliance Program, particularly the Compliance Testing Plan
  • Facilitates the preparation of summary reports and presentation materials for Corporate Governance Committee and other Bank committees as needed.
  • Assists in the preparation of initial new/updated Compliance Program related to banking/AML laws, rules and regulations that will be recommended by the Department based on the results of ICT which will supplement/improve the conduct of compliance testing for review of the Head Office Unit Compliance Testing Section Head.
  • Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.


JOB QUALIFICATION

  • Graduate of 4-year business course in Accounting or Banking and Finance.
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant.
  • With previous work experience (at least 1-2 years) in Audit or Compliance of a Bank.
  • Must possess knowledge and expertise on banking, AML laws, rules and regulations.
  • Must be computer literate such as MS Office, PowerPoint etc.
  • Must possess high analytical and research skills; Very good oral and written/presentation communication skills; good work planning and organizing skills.
