Description
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, etc.) to fabricate metal and plastic parts.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files.
- Load raw materials into machines and monitor the cutting/machining process.
- Use precision measuring tools to inspect finished products and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Adjust machine controls and offsets to maintain product quality.
- Document production numbers and complete job-related paperwork.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to resolve technical issues.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical/vocational training preferred).
- Proven experience as a Machinist or similar role.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM files.
- Knowledge of CNC programming (G-code, M-code) is a plus.
- Skilled in using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime if required.
- Knowledge in welding is an advantage.
