To plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective instruction to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic growth and personal development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Instructional Planning and Delivery:

* Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student learning objectives.

* Utilize a variety of instructional methods, including lectures, discussions, demonstrations, hands-on activities, and technology integration.

* Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.

* Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.

* Assess student learning through various methods, including formative and summative assessments, and provide timely and constructive feedback.

Classroom Management:

* Establish and maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.

* Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and orderly learning environment.

* Guide and support student behavior through positive reinforcement and appropriate disciplinary measures.

* Foster a collaborative and supportive learning community among students.

Student Support:

* Build strong relationships with students, providing individual attention and support.

* Identify and address the individual learning needs and challenges of each student.

* Provide academic support and intervention to students who are struggling.

* Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities and school events.

* Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and concerns.

Professional Development:

* Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

* Stay current on educational trends, research, and best practices.

* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching strategies.

Other Duties as Assigned:

* Participate in school committees and other school-related activities.

* Assist with the supervision of students during extracurricular activities.

* Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

* Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field.

* Valid teaching license or certification

* Proven experience as a teacher (preferred).

* Strong knowledge of curriculum standards and instructional best practices.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

* Ability to work effectively with diverse populations of students.
