Description
- Oversee kitchen operations and manage culinary staff.
- Develop and innovate menus based on seasonal ingredients.
- Ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
- Manage inventory and control food costs.
- Train and mentor kitchen team members.
- Collaborate with management on special events and promotions.
- Preparing and cooking meals, supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: A Diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field is required.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of relevant experience in a professional kitchen.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong cooking skills, knowledge of food safety standards, and menu planning.
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced environment; requires standing for long periods.
- Qualities and Traits: Creativity, teamwork, adaptability, and attention to detail.
