We are looking for adedicated and innovative Chemistry and Research Teacher to deliver engaging and inquiry-based science instruction. The ideal candidate will facilitate hands-on experiments, guide students in scientific research, and foster critical thinking skills while ensuring alignment with academic standards and school objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development & Instruction

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for Chemistry and Research courses.
• Integrate hands-on laboratory activities, experiments, and real-world applications into the curriculum.
• Guide students through scientific research methodologies, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Incorporate technology and modern teaching strategies to enhance student learning.

Laboratory Management & Safety

• Ensure proper use of laboratory equipment and enforce safety protocols.
• Maintain inventory of chemicals, lab materials, and equipment, ensuring proper storage and disposal.
• Train students in lab procedures, experimental techniques, and scientific ethics.

Assessment & Student Progress

• Design and administer assessments, quizzes, and lab evaluations to track student understanding.
• Provide constructive feedback and support differentiated instruction for diverse learning needs.
• Guide students in conducting individual and group research projects, including science fair participation.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with other science faculty to align curriculum and research methodologies.
• Collaborate with students and colleagues on STEM initiatives, research competitions, and academic events.
• Maintain open communication with students, parents, and school leadership about academic progress and research opportunities.

Professional Development & School Involvement

• Stay updated on emerging trends in Chemistry, scientific research, and STEM education.
• Attend training sessions, workshops, and school events to enhance instructional strategies.
• Support extracurricular activities, science clubs, and academic projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Science Education, or a related field.
• Valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) License for Professional Teachers.
• 0-2 years of teaching experience (experience in scientific research is an advantage).
• Strong knowledge of lab safety protocols, scientific writing, and experimental design.
• Passion for STEM education, critical thinking, and inquiry-based learning.

Must be amenable to work within Mother Ignacia, Quezon City.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php20,000.00 per month
