What you’ll be working on:

• Maintaining and enhancing the testing process to guarantee the quality of the production system.
• Gathering and analyzing testing requirements, planning the testing process, and developing detailed testing plans and test cases.
• Assisting with API testing.
• Actively participating in requirements review, test case design, quality assurance, function launching, and issue tracking.

About you:

• A background in finance/financial trading systems, such as FIX protocol, ordering process, derivatives trading, etc., is a plus.
• Experience in testing mobile apps and web development is a plus.
• Proficient in QA methodology with the ability to execute test cases, review results, and report and document technical issues.
• Capable of reviewing and analyzing system specifications.
• Familiar with project management tools like Jira and Testlink.
• Familiar with MySQL database.
• Familiar with API testing and network traffic analysis tools or IP tools.
• Experience in automation testing using Python and JavaScript.
• Enjoy breaking things and solving problems—not just identifying the ‘what’, but also the ‘why’.
• Excellent troubleshooting, listening, and problem-solving skills with the ability to set project expectations and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
• Possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, an analytical mind, problem-solving aptitude, and strong organizational skills.
