Description

  • Construct, install, and repair structures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
  • Read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
  • Select appropriate materials and tools for each project.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors.
  • Ensure job site safety and cleanliness.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
  • Meet project deadlines and communicate effectively with clients.

Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications: No formal degree required; basic education is sufficient.
  • Experience Level: Less than 1 year of relevant carpentry experience preferred.
  • Skills and Competencies: Proficient in assembly processes, woodworking techniques, and operating basic tools.
  • Working Conditions: Primarily outdoor work; must be comfortable in varying weather conditions.
  • Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, strong problem-solving skills, ability to work well in a team.
