- Provide hands-on training and instruction to students in caregiving techniques and responsibilities
- Teach essential skills such as patient care, hygiene assistance, and mobility support
- Create and implement lesson plans focused on caregiving tasks and safety protocols
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to ensure skill development
- Facilitate discussions on empathy, communication, and ethical considerations in caregiving
- Maintain a supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement
Requirements
- Certification or degree in nursing, healthcare, or a related field
- Experience in caregiving or healthcare, with a strong understanding of patient care
- Teaching experience or a passion for educating others
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create and adapt lesson plans for diverse learning needs
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in caregiving
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to work with individuals of different backgrounds
