Description
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and cakes.
- Prepare, bake, and present baked goods; maintain kitchen cleanliness; adhere to health and safety standards
- Follow recipes to ensure consistent product quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area.
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering ingredients.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet customer demands.
Requirements
- Education: No formal degree required
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience in baking or a related field
- Skills: Proficiency in cooking, ability to lift heavy items, discretion in handling ingredients, and stewarding knowledge
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced kitchen environment; may require standing for long periods; exposure to heat
- Qualities: Strong attention to detail, teamwork, creativity, and time management skills
