Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Review and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Ensure financial statements are accurate and comply with accounting standards.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial performance.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Lead the preparation of the company’s annual budget and ongoing forecasting.

• Monitor budget performance and advise on variances to ensure effective financial management.

3. Financial Record Review:

3.1. Monthly Tasks:

• Review all financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.

• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheets, and financial statements.

• Monitor cash flow and recommend adjustments as necessary.

• Analyze monthly financial performance and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Ensure that financial records are compliant with tax and accounting regulations.

3.2 Policy Creation and Implementation:

• Develop Financial Policies:

• Create, implement, and update financial policies to ensure effective and compliant financial practices across the organization.

• Develop policies related to budgeting, reporting, internal controls, and compliance.

• Enforce Financial Controls:

• Implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks and prevent fraud.

• Ensure that financial practices align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

4. Audit and Compliance:

• Oversee and ensure compliance with all financial regulations and tax laws.

• Coordinate with external auditors during audit periods and provide necessary documentation.

• Regularly update financial policies and procedures to reflect changes in tax regulations and industry standards.

5. Weekly Update and Discussion with Finance Managers:

• Conduct weekly meetings with the two Finance Managers to discuss financial performance, key issues, and strategies for improvement.

• Review weekly financial reports and ensure that the team is aligned on financial goals and priorities.

• Identify and address any challenges or discrepancies in financial operations with the Finance Managers.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

• Certification: CPA (Certified Public Accountant) required.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance management or related roles.

• Skills:

• Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting, and financial reporting.

• Experience in policy creation and implementation, particularly in a financial context.

• Expertise in financial software (e.g., Odoo, QuickBooks, Excel) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Analytical thinking with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
